There was an article in the news today about people over 55 filing for backruptcy at an increasing rate. They have gone from 8% of the personal bankruptcies filed to 22%. This age group is hit by a one-two punch of job loss and increasing health care bills. They had a fixed amount of savings and their health prevented them from finding a way to make more. Their biggest income was the small amount that Social Security pays each month.
What makes this even more sad is that over 80% of personal bankruptcies could’ve been avoided by an additional $300 per month.
What these people needed was a renewable source of income such as a network marketing business. A good opportunity will offer residual income so that not only can they retire and do what they want, if their health makes it difficult or impossible to work their business, the income still keeps coming.
And, since it’s a willable asset, the income can continue after they are gone to provide income to their heirs or favorite charity.
Another good point about network marketing is that you are business for yourself but not by yourself. You will find many people who are willing to help you succeed because it helps them become more successful.
Obviously, the key is to ‘dig the well before you are thirsty.’ Build the business now so that you can enjoy the fruits later.
At www.StartLateFinishWealthy.com, I can show you some information about what I can offer.

There’s an old story about the boss take a new hire to show him mansions, yachts, nice cars, tracts of land and other things. At the end, the boss puts his arm around the new hire and says, “If you work hard, put in overtime at night and on weekends, remain loyal and be consistent, all of this will be mine.”
Long ago, I decided that if I’m going to work hard and put in overtime, the dream that I build will be my own. As a former corporate IT guy, I spent a lot of hours working on problems long after everyone else had gone home. On top of all the time spent away from doing what I wanted to do, being an exempt employee meant that I didn’t get paid any extra either.
One company promised “comp time” but after 10 months of working there, I had accumulated the equivalent of 2 months of “comp time” which was never given.
I have only one life, so I decided to spend it the way I wanted to spend it. Nobody ever got to their deathbed and said, “I wish I had put in more hours at the office.” Memories and relationships are what matter most at the end of one’s time here. I am working to make it all worth it.

I know things can be tough for many people but a story about daylighters caught me by surprise. Daylighters are those people that are working two jobs at the same time. An example given was a cocktail waitress that worked her graphics design job when her shift was slow. Many people are risking their livelihoods to make a living. I look at this situation as someone running up the down escalator with their shoelaces untied – there’s a good chance they will get tripped up. The issue I see is that these people are working two linear income gigs instead of finding one that gives leveraged residual income like the company I work with. Now, I control my life while working on a part time basis.

The news today has been focusing on the economic roller coaster that has been happening on the stock market. Most people who have retirement accounts are invested in stocks through mutual funds. Many people have seen a lot of their account evaporate recently.
These retirement accounts are to fund your income stream after your job stops funding it. This sets up the race to see which runs out first, your life or your money.
A network marketing business can fund that income stream and is a ‘renewable source of income’. You don’t have to worry about the ups and downs of Wall Street. For more information, check out my site at StartLateFinishWealthy.com
